What data do we use and why?

To answer your enquiry, we use your name, email address and message, plus any company name, phone number and service selection you provide. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to submit the form. You can also contact us by email. Do not send passwords or sensitive access credentials.

Preparing a contract with you is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For business representatives and other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing business communications (Article 6(1)(f)).

To operate the website and prevent abuse, IP addresses, request times, browser and device information and interactions with the spam check are processed. The basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and communication channels (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who receives the data?

Data is used as needed by staff handling your enquiry and IT providers for website hosting, form delivery, email and spam protection. Hosting and spam-check providers operate, among other locations, in the United States; the form-delivery provider operates from India. Their infrastructure spans several countries.

Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. The providers’ published terms provide for European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, an adequacy decision. For details and a copy of the applicable safeguards, contact info@itsensor.ee.

How long is data kept?

The need to retain enquiries and correspondence depends on resolving the enquiry, any resulting contract and establishing or defending a legal claim. When these reasons end and retention is not legally required, the data must be deleted. The form-delivery provider’s published terms specify a maximum of three years for submissions, which may be reduced by earlier deletion or a shorter setting. Technical log retention depends on providers’ security and troubleshooting needs.

Browser storage

Your chosen light or dark theme is stored in your browser until you change it or clear site data. Our website code does not add advertising or visitor analytics. The spam check loads when you use the form and may use browser storage necessary for security. Blocking it may prevent form submission; you can email us instead.

Your rights

You can access and correct your data and, where the legal conditions apply, request erasure, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. We normally respond within one month and notify you of any legally permitted extension. You may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. We do not make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
